Spring 2016 24 Hour Playwriting Festival

February 6th & 7th

Cardinal Hall B

We invite you to create, cry, & crave caffiene during our semi-annual 24 Hour Playwriting Festival.

The clock starts at 7pm on February 6th to countdown the 24 hours until the performance at 7pm on February 7th in the student center. In that time, playwrights will write ten-minute plays and then hand them off to actors and directors who will make them come alive! The plays will include a specific line of dialogue and a prop to be used in the show. (It will be revealed when the time is right!)

>Enough

March 20th, 8:00pm

AJ 289

Am I too skinny? too curvy? have too much acne? too feminine? too manly? too pretty? not pretty enough? not thin enough? lack any curves?

Me, just as I am: am I enough?

This is the question we seek to find the answer and discuss what's really going on with body image in Busted Space Theatre Company's production of >Enough.

>Enough was created this semester to reach out to students about an issue that is silent but extremely present on campus. It's everywhere in our world today for both men and women: body image. Through the pieces written, directed, and performed by current Ball State students, we wish to spark the discussion about how body image is reflected onto us as students and then empower our student body into celebrating all body types through body positivity.

Admission is free and the whole event lasts for, roughly, an hour. Why not come and figure out the answer to the question you've always been asking?

Question: Am I enough?
Answer: >Enough
